    We brought them home on Saturday, one 1st year doe and her doeling and a buckling (unfortunatly fairly closly related). We realy like them, very quiet and easy to handle!

    thegoatlady I cant be the only breeder out there that is SICK of people wanting my stock for free or cheap! I hear the same story all the time "well I got my goat for free" or I just want an old goat" or "oh I just want a pet" Well I payed top dollar for my stock! I have doe all the yearly testing, I have put my heart and soul into my herd! So no I do no give away my stock!

      Trouble Wow... still a lot of old-school farmers out there. I sold a few the other day and knew I'd be haggling as soon as the guy got out of his truck and started insulting the goats right away. I guess I just remember he has the right to try to get the best deal he can and well, they're my goats, so I can stick to my price as much as I want, or move if I want to sell fast.

      Country@Hrt we've had some reply to our ads stating (not asking) that they will only pay 50 for one of our butcher goats, then asking for directions to our farm. Ummm...no!

    HiAyre I recently acquired 3 beautiful mini nubians (2 bucks, 1 doe) as friends for my baby mini Sam. I am totally in love with them! I put them in with my new horse and they are great pals now. I have some of the "Lik It" treats in the paddock for the horse. Well my goats love the strawberry one and have pink noses from eating some! Any idea if this is OK for the goats? I don't want them to get ill. Yes, a worried newbie!
